Other Grants

Some years there is residual income from the Ogilvie Trust Deed number 2. This is then given by way of grants to any charity in Essex Suffolk and London. Grants are awarded for specific fund raising projects, not running costs. These are allocated in October or November . Last year they were given to a charity providing safety locks for older people in their own homes, days out for children in holiday play schemes and equipment for various projects, as well as others. 21 grants were given totalling £30,000 last year but this does vary from year to year.
